    Has appreciated in value a lot better than some random crusty gold coin..



    Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.

    I guess my only issue with that card would be that it is likely improved. Do we really think these cards exist as pure white blazers 110 years later?

    Everyone loves the portraits but give me the bat off shoulder. When the doomsayers are right and cards plummet in value to nearly worthless, this is one of the first ones I will buy! Until then I will continue to enjoy looking at it in auction catalogs and through other collectors’ posts.
