I happened to stumble across the following guy and noticed that this guy played lights out in the playoffs, but just had an average regular seasons.
Billy Ray Bates - NBA
Regular Season (total 187 games) Averages 17.8 minutes, 1.7 rebounds and 11.7 points per game,
Playoffs (total 6 games over 2 different seasons) Averages 36.5 minutes, 2.8 rebounds and 26.7 points per game.
I just found it interesting that his numbers more than doubled in the playoffs. Anybody else you can think of that has turned into Superman when the playoffs come around.

I don't know if his stats have doubled but Rajon Rondo is a player whose stats usually went up come playoff time. "Playoff" Rondo is actually his nickname because of this. He's also one of just two NBA players in history to win a ring with both the Celtic & Lakers w/Clyde Lovellette the other.

Brian Doyle in a brief 4 year career was a .161 hitter. In the 78 playoffs with the Yankees he batted a robust .391. I know this is a small example but for some reason as a 10 year old in 78 this playoff performance really caught my attention.
Great question. I can't think of one. But I know they exist.
