A cut in the last pillar space hub is where the doubling begins on a die where another specified modification took place. 1989/1988 FG transitional doubling.

do you "not" think that is on the regular 1988 lincolns also? i just perused the 1988 transitional and the non on CF and just a cursory exam shows there may be something on the regular issue as well?
