    It does not seem like dirt if that helps.. I have tried rubbing & scraping with my fingers and it does not come off

    Sorry, but it's only environmental damage. It occurred after it left the mint

    I have one too. My son found it in a parking lot.

    Looks like a parking lot coin,. Heat and contact with cleaning fluids, tires etc. PMD
