PCGS Official Guide to Coin Grading and Counterfeit Detection

I remember someone not being able to find one of these awhile back. I am pretty sure they are out of print and this is a great book.

    Bill,

I've had my copy since it's release. It does contain a lot of good information.

    But,

I focused on the two cent piece for about a dozen years. I was excited when I learned about this book because I thought it would provide more information about the series. I realize the two cent piece isn't as popular as Morgans, SLQs, Mercs, etc., but that's no reason to ignore it.

The book describes how to grade a two cent piece, as it does other coins. But that's about all it does for the two cent. To me the book contains little more than I'd already seen. I was hoping for more.

But I think they could have done a little better, IMHO.
