Welcome to the forum. There is an allowable weight tolerance above and below the target weight. Your coin is well within normal range.

Why did you weigh it? Was there some visible anomaly?

  • It’s a very clean sharp coin and it comes in at 5.75 every time.

The weight tolerance for a quarter is 5.67 gms +/- 0.227 gms. Your coin is well within that range and is considered normal.
