I recently sent these in to be slabbed by our guests. and wrote the code number from Krause's catalog
and, sent in this picture and all of them came back No service/refund.......I don't understand. Are these not what I see in the catalog? Excuse the crappy pic's, my hands are really shaky

Those look great Stef!
It's worth calling Customer Service to clarify the policy. Earlier, PCGS would not slab Dan's 1964 Peace Dollars even though they were in Krause, but now they do. This could be something similar.
If PCGS confirms they don't do it, there's always ANACS, but they don't have great images like TrueViews.

I would get it in an email
You’ve experienced verbal assurances before
If PCGS had any questions on this, they can contact Todd Parker and Gordon O’Rourke of Continental Coin, who have an eBay store:

No way pcgs seeks submission advice outside its walls
I'm not sure if they seek it, but I'm sure they consider it. For example, when they decided to grade chop marked Trade Dollars.
And they use outside / remote contract consultants / graders, but I'm not sure if you consider that within their "walls".
When filling out a submission form, we put the PCGS coin number on every line item. If we cannot find it on CoinFacts, then we do not submit that particular item. That way we are certain that the coin is on their list of items they certify. Very cool pieces, btw. I like @Zoins idea of trying ANACS if you cannot convince PCGS to add these to the coins they grade.
It’s not an issue off add
They are grading what’s in Krause
It’s a matter of them knowing it
And numbers may not be available if they haven’t seen one yet
Thanks everyone. I’ll try calling them and asking. Emails don’t seem to work well with them any longer.

It would be calling them and having the person email you
I'm likely wrong on this, but I thought there was a PCGS policy that it had to be in Krause to get encapsulated, but not that if it was in Krause it was eligible to be encapsulated.
In honor of the memory of Cpl. Michael E. Thompson
I would like to know why PCGS doesn’t want to grade them. It seems pretty easy to grade and it is not high value. I got some no service back before; some are no record on them; others are no holder or PCGS decided not to holder them any more.
That is correct.
This is what the website says. emphasis mine:
Ref: https://www.pcgs.com/tokensandmedals
We have a medal in grading at PCGS, and it will soon be the only one ever graded by PCGS. We had planned to send it to NGC but thought we should just double check that it is in the PCGS numbering system. To our surprise, it was listed so we sent it in for grading.
It's worth noting that PCGS is slabbing more and more items that seem to not be included in their listed catalogs, which I appreciate.
Some categories include:
At least there's no catalog number on the inserts, and they don't seem to be covered by the listed catalogs.
The OP's tokens are listed in my 4th edition of "Unusual World Coins" by Krause Publications. The link provided by Zoins above notes that PCGS will grade items from the 6th edition. Were those items removed sometime after the 4th edition was released?
Well, I don’t understand why they would pick and choose what edition they will grade. That’s just silly in my opinion.
Mine is from the 6th, supposedly most current.

I don't either. I only brought it up because they noted that specific edition.
.
I’m sorry if I came across directing my compliant to you. I was just complaining in general

No, that's alright. I'm good.
Took a while to locate my error rounds:
Anyone know, is this 1989 Earthquake Silver round listed in Krause ? I cannot locate it in my 6th ed.
Well, I called them today and asked. They replied with an email stating….
“Good Afternoon,
Thank you for contacting PCGS Customer service.
Yes, this is correct. PCGS does not grade the 6 coins that you sent in. In this case you were not charged a grading fee and only paid shipping and handling to get the order back to you.”
So I guess even though it’s in the 6th edition which is clearly on the page in OP. Doesn’t necessarily mean that will
grade it.
.
@LindyS I do not see the earthquake listed in the 6th edition. But the others are but probably won’t be graded.
Maybe try anyways and if you get lucky I’ll send mine in again…..

The email reply sounds like a parrot of the “refund” info page
It provides absolutely no explanation why they are in Krause, their own web page says they do then, yet they are saying they do not.
Call again. Nail it down.
.
.
I’ve done this on the other coin/token items. I am growing old and weary.
I think after these few submissions are finished I will be going elsewhere.
It has become impossible to break the “cone of silence” with PCGS.
Edit to add………it absolutely confuses me how they will not grade GMM tokens that are the very essence of how the
Golden Dollars we’re started. And, now these which are in their reference material but, happily grade BIT coins.

Very frustrating and why all my Daniel Carr things go to ANACS even though some are done by our host.

that is at least one reason a lot of stuff still goes to anacs despite having pcgs/ngc and other options, is that they go ALL the way down the rabbit hole in my experience. no mean feat to do and do with accuracy. some sharp tools in the shed in them neck of the woods.
