    Nope. He's before Frenchy. He played on the Braves mid 70's till mid 80's among other teams

    I can't actually find anything on google regarding this nickname for him I vividly recall watching hundreds of Braves games growing up during that time with announcers Skip Cary and Pete Van Wieren using this nickname for him during telecasts.
