Nobody had any interest in that great collection? Wow, I am really shocked. I figured you collectors of European would be all over this.

And some of the ancient gold even tempted me to start collecting ancients. (I resisted though, due to the prices.)

I did manage to buy one coin, but it was a low-grade rarity, which seems to have become my MO of late.

1/4 isn't bad in an auction as competitive as that one was. I was 1/3.
