    I’m not doubting you (well, maybe a little), but if Stephen Album’s team couldn’t tell with the coin in-hand, what makes you so sure only seeing an online image?

    Edited: OK, now I noticed that the Stephen Album coins is not the OP coin. Foolish me.

    Compare the shape of the characters generally, and more particularly the shape of "boo" (the Manchu word on the left of the reverse). On the Album coin, it's clearly Manchu script; on the OP's coin, it's more like a swirly decoration.
