Supposedly he bet three parlays, each involving the Falcons to win. On his phone. Out of state due to wherever he lives.
Can we assume that they are tracking all of the players legal betting and this was a first?

That's correct. As part of their deal with all of their gambling partners, the partners notify the NFL if any NFL personnel place bets.

I got no problem with him betting if he was out on leave honestly, but the fact that he walked away from his team because he had to focus on his mental

The irony is that Caesars seems to be a NFL sponsor with the All the Mannings. I do love JB Smoove, Halle Berry, Archie, Eli, Cooper and Peyton in the commercials. They are well done but romanticizes gambling to say the least.

I know that this might not be the consensus opinion around here, but I get a bad taste in my mouth seeing these guys shill for anything gambling related. Same goes for alcohol related.

I think more and more will be coming from this, I wonder if there is going to be legit accusations of him betting on Falcons games and him playing a potential part in the outcome.
