n00b question from an old timer

Hey guys. Took about a decade off from the hobby and recently came back. Can anyone let me know why there is an application process here now and how long it takes? Hoping to be able to login soon.

I'm an applicant. I can't use anything other than this cached browser or it doesn't know who I am. If I try to go to the venue where this should be posted it doesn't know me and tells me I have to register or login to post. It's just a purgatory question for how long the account screening process takes.

Sounds like a browser issue. There is no purgatory during which you’re able to post. Non members can’t post, then suddenly you’re a member and you can.
