Well, I can get the info I need but I have to access 3 different reports:

1 - Financial Statement gives me a total for shipping labels

2 - Tax Invoice gives me the ACCURATE numbers for total fees paid to eBay

3 - Sales Report gives me total monthly sales

    Thanks for the help,,,,,

The link below will let you generate a report that has all the transactions since you switched to managed payments (edit: I ran "Transaction report" for Jan 1, 2021 to Dec 31, 2021 and left all the defaults). There are columns for different fees paid (see second image of a snip of what the download looks like)

As far as shipping labels purchased, it depends how you paid for them. Mine were paid via paypal, so I had to download the transactions report on paypal and filter by payments to eBay Inc Shipping.
There might be another way, but that's the best I could find.

i do what these gentlemen have done and i go through the XLS spreadsheet(s) and delete the columns of useless info which reduces it by around 2/3. then move the columns next to eaach other and then use data sort. copy and paste specific transaction types into another tab in the spreadsheet. you can add some to the bottom. my final tax xls usually has about 25 or so at the bottom. expenses ebay and receipt. purchase ebay and receipt etc. it is a fairly easy process. just a bit time consuming.

then i have made copies of that main XLS where i deleted the info. then made copies for future years so the format is the same and put them into 2023, 2024, 2025 folders.

You are correct that there are plenty of useless columns. I left them in the example above but deleting them is an option to make the spreadsheet more concise.

my comment was in no way in reference to yours. (or anyone elses) :)

i just figured once i started yapping about how i do it, i kinda felt obligated to share some tips to make it easier. i CANNOT do it with all that extra data. i'd need a 50" widescreen monitor. lol

Thanks, I generated a report that shows shipping labels I paid for which seems accurate.

The same report shows eBay fees of $57.58 for sales of over $2678.18 so that isn’t right.

I wonder why that number isn’t accurate?

Are those from the PayPal report? If so, that would be eBay fees paid by via PayPal before the switch to managed payments. To get the eBay fees from the managed payments era, you have to download the report from eBay.

No, it is all eBay. I never get paid by PayPal for eBay sales any more.

I find eBay lists the same numbers in several different places,,,,,,, my problem is they never match.

Makes it hard to figure out the correct numbers.

But did you have sales via PayPal before the switch? There were a few months at the beginning of 2021 when many were still not switched over to managed payments.

Depending on how many sales you had, you might just want to go through each one and see what your payout was vs what the total sale price was to get the accurate fee. You could also get an estimate by multiplying your total sales by the eBay fee.

Did you figure it out? eBay broke their API sometime in June of 2021 and my bulk shipping costs no longer port over to my listing software. I ended up downloading some files and shipped by postage. Handed it to my tax guy and wished him luck.

For some reason, if I print a single label, it ports over to my listing/inventory software fine.

    I use SixBit

Well, I found why sales totals aren't the same on all reports,,,,, some reports don't include monthly store fee's, and others don't include promoted listing fees or fee refund credits.

The Tax Invoice includes all fee's and charges as far as I can tell.

I also found out how to access all shipping label fee's so that is a great help.

Again the info above helped me find this info,,,,, THANKS
