Morgan people---why does this coin look like this?

in PCGS Set Registry Forum
At a glance this doesn't look like MS68 from the scan. Are all the marks (on the chin and to the left of the nose) on the coin; on the slab; or because of poor photography?

    I've seen this coin in person. It looks much better than the scan/photo would indicate.

    How do you know it came out of a GSA holder.
    If I were to take a guess and I am, I would say that coin was in contact with the canvas bag.

    This is ugly, IMHO, as in uuuuuggggllllllllyyyyyyyyyy. I've heard before how beautiful it is. I'm not sold. I wouldn't pay 2000 for this.
