Horrible, and potential buyers are bidding.
What if it is Ken Brett showing - would it be an accurate title 😄
just because it is a big dealer people are just taking his word for it. i need proof before i lay that kind of money down.
He does say Brett 2nd year. So there’s that…
He rarely posts scans of the back of anything. Chalk it up to pure laziness.
It could be a 1970 Ken Brett showing on the back in that case!
Can always return it, so sounds like an opportunity to pick up a rack that will sell under market
That would make me one unhappy consigner.
It did just that..all the top cards were correctly collated by cell so I'd expect (hope) the Brett is in the header cell where it should be found. Condition was a bit rough but the rack sold at a very reasonable price.
Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.
Tim - do you think if Steve wraps that pack and George is on back it’s a 2k rack?
I saw this one as well as strongly considered going for it. It basically sold for slightly more than a 1976 topps rack with no stars. It looks good to me, And would bet it gets wrapped. I’d say $2k is a reasonable valuation.
I would say that's about right. Condition was rough and centering of header cell is not ideal but 2K is about right in this case, though more than I would personally pay as a collector.

I passed on bidding because of condition and lack of back scan. Of course if I knew the collation as well as Tim, I may have bid.
Now collecting:
Topps Heritage
1957 Topps BB Ex+-NM
All Yaz Items 7+
Various Red Sox
Did I leave anything out?
