They hit in the three and four spot in the lineup for the same team for at least three seasons.
Example…. Manny Ramirez and David Ortiz

Ruth and Gehrig
Mays and McCovey
Mantle and Berra
Mathews and Aaron
All three are very solid choices. Eddie Mathews is the forgotten man now......what a power hitter!
Not to the level of those mentioned so far but
Olivia and Killebrew was very formidable in the mid sixties

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
I remembered Oliva having 700 or so plate appearances most years and just always assumed he hit first or second. But you're right, he did hit 3rd, so that's a worthy addition to the list.
Willie Davis
Ron Fairly
Nobody remembers who they are....but.....they got the job done. #3 & #4 in the lineup. A couple of World Series Championships ain't all that bad! THREE DOG and CLUTCH!.......
I was thinking about the 1929-30-31-32 Athletics - Al Simmons and Jimmy Foxx- just cannot recall if they were 3-4 in the line up
Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.
Hodges Snyder and Campanella - I know we limited the discussion to 3-4- my apologies for not recalling which of these guys were 3-4 and I suspected it changed alittle in the '49-'55 time frame
