For sale is a small group of space things from the files of former governor of Georgia and former US Senator Richard B Russell. Here is what is included:
1) Letter from GE Missile and Space Division to the Senator dated May 1, 1969
2) Booklet entitled Benefits from Space dated March 1969
3) Large envelope with a block of (4) Apollo 8 stamps with a first day of issue postmark (Houston TX, May 5, 1969) addressed to the Senator
4) Small folder for the dedication ceremony of the National Academy of Sciences with a 5c The Sciences stamp and first day of issue cancelation dated Oct 14, 1963 (presumably from Senator Russell's file, but not marked as such)
5) Brochure from the Government Printing Office offering space information to the public
6) Sheet of (12) $0.29 25th Anniversary of the First Moon Landing stamp (issued 1994)
By the way, Senator Russell has an "interesting" reputation but he does have a Senate Office Building named after him.
