Does PCGS receive FedEx packages on Saturday?

I shipped my order on Thursday using FedEx overnight and obviously they failed at the only job they do.

They are now saying it will be a Saturday delivery... Does PCGS received packages on Saturday?

I don't want my coins in FedEx possession any longer than they have to be...

My understanding is unfortunately your package will not be delivered until Monday. I share your concern. I too use FedEx Priority Overnight, and for the reasons you describe, I only ship Monday - Wednesday. I also let them know on the pickup request that I “close” at 4:00 pm. This increases the chance of making the flight out to the hub that evening!
