When do you have to upgrade to oversized holder at PCGS?

What is the dimensional limit size in the oversized holder?

I would give customer service a call, not an email, about this situation.

Got to tell you that there have been many times that what customer service told me was not what the people that review submittals will say to me later!

    1. Click "PCGS" in Quick Links at the top of the page.
    2. Click "Search" at the top of the page.
    3. Type "slab size" in the box and hit enter.
    4. Click the link in the first result (PCGS Coin and Banknote Holders).

Perfect! That is exactly the info I was looking for.

Why not put the answer here for posterity?

I often wondered this myself and could never find it. Searching for "slab size"? Who would have thought?

I believe it's over 40.6 mm in diameter, as I was told at the PCGS booth at a show anything over the size of a American Silver Eagle will not fit in a regular slab.

There are seven different holders listed on that page, if you include GSA slabs. I'm not sure which the OP was asking about.
