Volumes 4-6 from the American Bank Note Archive Series, 1989-92 are also on sale individually at Coopers on March 3. This annual series of intaglio engravings was printed on acid-free cream-colored paper stock. There are twelve 8 1/2" by 11 1/4" pages for each year with four to nine vignettes per page. These were originally also done by subscription and are available at:

I highly recommend these. I bit the bullet and bought the six book set years ago. You can spend hours enjoying the intaglio engravings and subject matter. I love trains, and there’s plenty of them.

Looks like all these lots got passed. I don't know what the MB was, but $100 would have been a reasonable starting point. The 1992 portfolio is the key set -- that one is a good buy at $250.
