The image of the obverse is to blurry to tell much about the coin, but the reverse image is pretty telling.
Deep valley "N" in UNITED
The Period following the "D" in the designer's initials is to close to the "D".
The center cross bar of the "B" is to straight.
I'd like to be able to see better details of the mint mark?

After a bath in C3H60 one would likely find the 'S' on this one at the bottom of the beaker.

Well, we don't have good enough images of the obverse to really tell much about that side of the coin, that's to bad too!

'S' likely pulled from genuine 1916-S cent and then glued on to a 1909 V.D.B. Genuine '16-S seems to be a lot harder to find than it should be is my observation.
