1980 OPC Bourque green blotch PD

Just curious for any collectors of this card if this defect was common on the Bourque rookies not to downgrade or is this a Julius Erving print defect that is common in almost all his 1972 Topps that it wouldn’t affect the grade. Here is an example of the Bourque I’m talking about

This card looks like it would have a decent chance at a 9 without the defect in my opinion.

Not on the high grade ones higher than an 8. I do have a raw copy pack pulled that has that same defect not knowing if it was a rare pd. It was strange to see a high grade card with it.
I think the centering saved the grade. Looks like a solid 8
Not too common . . . but they are out there.
Most likely the ones with it are probably not graded because of it . . . just my guess.
