finally got some good pics of my hologram marvel card.

After many failed attempts at photographing these hologram cards I got some good ones. Most of them have centering issues but not to bad.


has a printing issue in the bottom right of the picture edge. Very slight dent upper right in the picture.



magneto had a dent in the upper right corner, so sad.




over all a pretty good looking set.

    They are 1990 series 1 cards. I think hologram cards were just starting to become popular as trading cards around that time. They are pretty basic cards here, not much design on the cards other that the hologram with a basic white border,

    They were the insert bonus set of holograms in the Impel Marvel universe 162 card set from 1990. The hologram set consisted of 5 cards. I was very fortunate in getting all 5 of them.

    you should look for them. Apparently a PSA 10 magneto card sold on ebay 2/10/2021, for $9999.99.

    My first pack as a kid I got the Surfer hologram :), but never got another holo after that :(

    I found.. 90 & 91 cards..
    About 250, 1990 & 300 from 1991.
    Near 90 set, in binder with the 5 holograms ( 2 nice 3 o/c.)
    And some other cool silver surfer one.

    I'm looking for some raw 1990 cards to put together a set, If your thinking on doing the same I have a pile of raw cards from 1990 series to trade
