PSA collectors club submissions events notification

Sorry I have ask this but I'm not one for social media sites....my bad. I joined the PSA collectors club and also joined the Instagram site just today. Apparently I can get notification of upcoming submissions events through Instagram. From reading other posts on here getting notified by email account may not be reliable. So I've never used the Instagram site for any kind of correspondence, I did "follow" PSAcard and am wondering if that is all I have to do to get notified of upcoming submission events through Instagram.
Yes I know I'm lame, without knowledge of the social media haha.

Is the clock running on my subscription now that they're having this lottery? Or does that start once everything is back to normal?

I think it depends on if you have a frozen subscription or if you just purchased the current version of the silver pass. The current offering only advertises that you get the magazine and access to lotteries. The frozen subscriptions from the March 2021 shutdown can't start running since a specific perk of the membership was access to Value submissions, which have not been available. So once the Value subs come back, then the frozen memberships will run again.

I've received an e-mail notification each time that there has been a lottery but have no intention of subbing anything at this price point. Been a member since '96. As far as subscription it appears that it has been extended one year from expiration date. However, I've not received the January PSA magazine in the mail.

@sayheywyo I found out recently that the courtesy extension of your membership does NOT include continuing to receive printed copies the magazine.

Wow. Just another gut punch to the loyal customer base. All I can do is shake my head. Guess that makes sense since my original subscription expired in December. Oh well, thanks for the memories PSA.... it was fun while it lasted. Now, not so much.

I wonder if the courtesy extension folks don't receive email notifications of allocation events as well.

I can’t say for sure since I haven’t really been looking for them because I am not planning any submissions at this time… but it seems to me that I did get at least 1 email announcement.

I’ve never stopped getting the magazine, but I just started getting the email notifications about a week ago.
