collectors card, shadow box

I just finished making this shadow box for my new hobby of trading card collecting. Pretty simple design made from cedar and a piece 1/8" "plastic sign stalk" painted black for the backing. with a 1/4" thick clear plexiglass front. All the materials were unknowingly donated by my brother lol from his work shop. (what are brothers for eh haha). Of course the cards are mine.

debating on putting a stain on it or painting??
