It would be a better situation than what he is looking at in Tampa that’s for sure
I would be surprised if he comes back. but, stranger things have happened.
George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.
Gronk obviously marches to the beat of a very different drummer. Wouldn't be surprised to see him make the move. He's 32 yrs old, got a net worth of $45m, he'll do or go wherever he wants. Now that the GOAT is leaving, he and Burrow would make a fun matchup, I'd surely watch those games.
Any chance they can sign him before Sunday?

For all his frat boy aura and goofiness, Gronk is a smart dude. He has never spent a dime of his NFL paychecks - every penny gets invested. He only spends his endorsement money.
He is smart enough to avoid bad situations - like being traded to Detroit. There's no chance he plays for Tampa next year unless TB12 changes his mind. I could see him going to Cincinnati but my money is on him retiring again.
