Cal Ripken Pre Rookie Card

There was a thread in regard to the Cal Ripken rookie cards. I was just wondering about Cal's Charlotte O's 1980 card. Is there a strong market for this card now and in future?

    yes more so for the orange bordered police card (which is very rare) than the blue bordered SGA one....A copy of the orange one (PSA 6) sold for $24,000 last Fall.
