What do you think the grade would be for this 1927 Australian One Cent 'London' Obverse penny?

Just trying to get an idea what the grade would be, before I submit it to be professionally graded and auctioned.
If anyone has a good idea, would be of much help! Thanks!! Links to pics of coin are below...

I’ve flagged this thread. Hopefully a moderator will move it to the appropriate category.
Why do you want to certify it? I'd say it's F-12 and will cost more to grade than the coin is worth, but maybe I'm not up to speed on Aussie coinage.
I've got it at VF details, cleaned.
Well, just Love coins, period.
Same here. Low VF, and details due to the obverse scratches.

Australia did not make "one cent" coins in 1927. We were still using pounds, shillings and pence back then. This coin's face value is one penny, worth 1/12th of a shilling, 1/240th of a pound, or 5/6ths of a cent when cents were eventually introduced in 1966.
I would agree that it may well be ungradable by a TPG due to the heavy scratches in the obverse field, unless you've got some kind of odd lighting setup that makes scratches look much, much worse than they really are. Without the scratches, I would grade it Fine by Australian standards (VF by American/PCGS standards).

Apparently I have been awarded one DPOTD.
