I didn't want anything to do with it at ipo due to various factors (wrong play). Really don't want anything to do with it now with the whole metaverse crap (prob wrong again), but it's a byproduct of being in the whole online industry for 27-8 years since the get go and not liking the model.
I have no desire to have any part of Facebook
Yes down by 26% one word assume that this is a good buying opportunity.
To me, facebook is a symptom of all the wrong things....
Yes FB is a sh*t sandwich, upon which many feast, yet the question was is it a good buy or goodbye.
I'm still trying to dump the MySpace stock.

Apple's new privacy setting was a $10 billion hit to FB - and they had fewer users. I have two kids in their early 20's and neither use FB. Might be a chance to make a quick buck, but next quarter's earnings could turn that wheezing noise into a sucking chest wound.

About the only use I would have for Facebook and Instagram is maybe the classified section to sell stuff.
Still don't like the non privacy issue where they like to get in see all your photographs and all your contacts and 6000 other things so just not that interested
What is the relevance to precious metals???

Same as the stock market game, or the crypto threads, or…
I would tend to agree that a discussion of FB is veering off topic. I think the crypto discussions are relevant to a discussion about the nature of money, gold, and the dollar.
_Facebook is losing ground, and it appears Mark Zuckerberg may face limited options even as he tries to guide the company into the metaverse.
Not only is the social giant facing a shrinkage in users and various short-term losses lately, but it remains uncertain if and when its shift to video content and its big bet on the metaverse will actually pay off._

When my partner logged on a while back, her videos all started coming from China.
She had to tweak her permissions to get it back to the stuff she liked.
