John Adams Coin encapsulated, John Adams signature and a framed picture of Adams in a cardboard cut-out and fancy border set in cardboard cutout. With like new US Mint box. Perfect condition. Is this one of all president series Any idea of value? I cannot seem to find anything on this. Appreciate any information on this. Thank you. Jon

It sounds like something from the aftermarket that was made to appeal to the general public rather than serious coin collectors. Unfortunately, It is likely to have little value beyond face value. The regular circulation John Adams dollar was produced in Philadelphia and Denver with about 112 Million struck at each mint.
Early on in the presidential dollar series, the US Mint started a "Presidential Signature Set" for each one ( They abandoned them after the first 8 or so)
I bought about 5 of each, like most other similar mint issues, they rent out a spare bedroom in my upstairs. To nice to give away/throw away but only worth a dollar.
Ebay shows many of them. I believe the Jefferson (maybe) was the only one that showed value.

I'm not a serious collector which may explain why I have it. I would send a photo but I have no idea how to establish a URL for my photo. It is 1 inch in diameter and a 'proof' finish in a plastic case. In a folder cut out for the Cameo of Adams and the coin. I'm clearing out a lot of silver proof coins and other things. I'm surprised at what I have stashed away over the years. Thanks for the information and I agree with your assessment. Jon
