Baseball Story-Coping with Loss and Love

Scott walked into his tiny apartment and turned on his old desktop computer. Like everything in his life, he tried to be thrifty and second hand, hence a decade old desktop. He worked at a local home improvement store full time making $12 an hour. He could afford his little apartment on that and live mildly comfortable. He was a sports fanatic and into all kinds of games as well. He was looking up some baseball stats while he ate some dinner. He also remembered there was a baseball game tonight. The small central Illinois town had a minor league baseball team plus a Division 3 college for football and basketball. He was in his mid 30's, 6 feet tall and rail thin at 160 pounds.
He had recently lost his father whom he had a very toxic relationship with and was now forced to clean out the old man's house. Scott knew his father had been a pack rat and what he might find made him cringe. He was also having lots of regrets about not trying to reconcile with his father before his death.
The one thing they had been able to do, for a time, was to go to a baseball game and sit mostly silent, unless talking about the game.
He decided to go to the game last minute. He took off his work shirt and put on a team shirt and headed to the stadium. It was a mile drive and he parked in the third row. That meant there would be a small crowd that night. He walked up to the stadium, built in the 1970's and in decent shape. It could seat about 4,000 fans.
He went up to the ticket office window and was surprised that there was a line five parties deep. He stood in line and took out his phone. He heard someone mumble about a computer issue.
Scott stepped to the side of the line to see what the actual hold up was. There were two parties of college kids and two families in front of him. The first person in line was a short woman.
The woman was indeed very short at barely over 5 feet tall, maybe 5'1". She had very short dark hair tied in a tiny ponytail on the back of her head.
But she was very built and muscled. Thick. Lush. Soft skin over her large muscles.
He should have moved back into line but stood out staring at her. She wore a long skirt hiding a very evident pair of massive tree trunk like thighs.
She had huge arms thicker than his thighs and very large forearms filled with solid muscle.
The computer was fixed and she turned her neck upward to see the computer screen above her head. Her thick neck muscles flexed and Scott shook with excitement and anxiety and stepped back into line. The muscle lady got her ticket and walked inside. She was alone.
The line moved and 5 minutes later Scott was walking inside the stadium.
There were not a lot of people in attendance, but he didn't see her around as he got beer and nachos and took his seat about halfway down the seating bowl.
Now mixed in with dealing with his father's death was the woman who he had seen for 5 minutes.........

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......

It did make me laugh but I get the impression that it wasn't meant to be funny
