A couple novice questions about bent cards and grading

So when cards get to you and theyre like bent, not creased or anything but just like curved (you all know what I mean) that is from them sitting in the 9 card sleeves on shelves too long? Or is that from the sun or what exactly causes that? Just got a lot of cards and theyre bent like mad, some worse than others but some theres enough room to slide 3 stacked pennies under each card lol
Plus how bad does it affect its grade, is it a minor thing or major
Thanks for any replies

I've been wondering the same. A related question is, can one flatten such cards by putting them under a book? I realize that it would probably be a bad idea to iron them...
(PSA's "Grading Standards" screen doesn't address this, but I vaguely remember watching a video in which someone grading a card was looking at it along the edge to see its curvature.)
are they chrome cards?

No just old tony gwynn cards lol
I think they will be fine.
Just put in a card saver. Some of those are examples of bowing (not bending) from being in a vending box. No harm no foul
HOF SIGNED FOOTBALL RCS
If graded they may come with qualifiers (ED) or (P) Peyronie's
Thanks guys!
Hi WFFL,
what is a Peyronie's term with graded cards?
I never heard that term used before.
Thanks
that curling or bowing is perfectly fine. not considered creased at all.
George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.
