Anyone know this counterstamp? On an 1805 half cent.

Added to my odd collection I do not have easy access to counterstamp information and appreciate any help!

It is not listed in the Brunk catalog -- it appears not to be a logotype c/s but rather individual punches. Without convincing traveling evidence it will be extremely difficult to attribute it to a person or company.
I saw that one on ebay.
Individual punches - I would not expect it to be in Brunk.
Authentication or attribution would be largely impossible since it is done with individual punches. The letter style looks suspiciously modern to me. The rough area on the reverse looks like it was set on concrete and not an anvil when struck.
The lettering and area opposite the counterstamp does have an aged look, which is the only saving grace, but it is possible to simulate that.
My thoughts as well @JBK

Those look like modern punch letters... More likely to have been counter stamped in the 1960's then 1860's.
Any coin with letters or numbers punched into it using letter and number punches can be easily duplicated and should be considered to be PMD (post mintage damage) not unlike graffiti engraved on a coin.

Like this?
I made this up once to illustrate to a poster how easily it can be done.
These are modern punches in a "fancy" font made for crafting. Regular "utilitarian" punches look more like those in the first post. I also have a couple sets of antique punches that have a genuinely vintage look.

Thanks all; I didn't know if it was a reference to a real counterstamp since the coin itself is a Chinese counterfeit.
I was wondering about that.
So someone is buying Chinese fakes and adding counterstamps to deceive.
1st one I have seen; seller had 2, one without a CS and this one.
