Well it's between 1970 and 1980 due to the eagle. Looks like either a 25 Peso or 100 Peso, but they are both silver.

    Got it! 5 Peso KM-472.

Thank you. The opposite side is blank.

How big is it? That design was used on 10c, 20c, 50c, 1p & 5p copper nickel issues.

Right, as @MasonG mentioned the only one is not, is the 10 pesos as that was not round. Otherwise depends on the size.

It's 3 cm(1.18 in.) A 5 peso KM-472 is 33 mm, so when I get it I'll weigh it. Not familiar at all with the Peso's as is evident. Only bought this one for it's lack of an obverse for curiosity. Also, is there any lettering on the edge?

I just read that it does have Edge Lettering: INDEPENDENCIA Y LIBERTAD, so I will look for that when I receive it as it may be damaged and removed. Thanks for your help.

Peso is 29mm, reeded edge. 5 peso is 33mm, lettered edge as you indicated.

I received the coin today and was told wrong. It is 29mm, 8.6 grams with a reeded edge, which makes it a KM460 1 peso coin.
Thanks to all for your help. Sorry about the wrong numbers and edge, but were as given me. Coin's reverse has a ton of luster.
