I lived in Japan from 1994 to 1996. While I wasn't a serious collector then, I did save "interesting" coins that came my way, mostly out of circulation. Some were older, some were BU, and many others were just circulation coins. I haven't looked at these in 25 years (except to count them today), so I have only a general idea what's in there, but I know there are some reeded edge 10 Yen, which are 1950s. Don't expect much, just circulated coins, but I am selling at face value so you could start a circ set.

Most of these coins wouldn't be available in circulation now, 25 years after I plucked them.

1 Yen aluminum: 4 rolls (and I did not even open them to count) approx. 207 coins = 207 Yen = $1.82
5 Yen brass: 133 coins = 665 Yen = $5.84
10 Yen copper: 297 coins = 2970 Yen = $26.06

I also have some older circulated coins at prices marked:

Meiji 15 (1882) 1/2 Sen F $2.00
Showa 13 (1938) Sen VF (one-year type) $0.25
Taisho 7 (1918) Sen F details $0.25
Taisho 10 (1921) Sen XF $0.50
Showa 3 (1928) 10 Sen VF details $0.50
Showa 16 (1941) 10 Sen VF-XF $0.50
Showa 18 (1943) Sen pretty beat up $0.25
Showa 38 (1963) 50 Yen AU $2.00

Or all of the above 8 coins for $5.00

Buyer to pay for whatever type of shipping they want at cost.
