Why Doesn’t GC have Make an Offer like Heritage?

It’s such a cool feature as both a buyer and seller in my opinion and was wondering if this has been discussed before?

GC is a very lean, well run organization. They can't do everything.
Why should they?
You buy a coin and you have no intention of selling it, and you get spammed by the company that sold it to you trying to generate business for themselves... my answer would be bleep you and the bleeping horse you rode in on.
If you buy a coin from GC and decide to resell it, they will be more than happy to accept the consignment... but it's YOUR choice and YOUR timing.

We have had that feature in development for a long time, but it has not risen to the top of the list to be implemented.
Also - in today's vibrant market, re-auctioning the coin (through GC) is probably the better way to go.

I want "X" amount for my coin, all others can just move on.
Maybe Heritage could add a “request owner to auction on GC” button
Agree 100%. If owners don’t want offers, they can turn it off.

I think the default settings are what upsets some people... probably the same people that are emailing BIN offers on my eBay auctions that don't have "make an offer" turned on.
If I have an item in auction it’s already at my rock bottom price and I don’t want the irritating offer memos (eBay) so I have offer turned off. If for some reason forgot set offer off and get their junk crummy low ball offer I just tell them “already at best price.” If item goes thru auction cycle there (x auc), does not sell to heck w them / I just throw it back in store at retail. Then sometimes it will sell. I believe eBay may have peaks and valleys (the people who will pay the money). Sort of like shows. It’s a lot like fishing sometimes they biting sometimes not.
I prefer the way GC does it, they are well run / top flight.
It’s YOUR choice and YOUR timing with the “Make Offer To Owner” option. The owner is free to receive offers or not.

I agree. My only gripe is not GC's fault - but their consignors need to consign more stuff that I collect.
The subject was about coins that have already sold at auction, not ones that are currently up for sale or which failed to meet reserve.

I see the recent buy it now on several items on GC. No if only that said or best offer. Either way, they are my favorite for buying graded coins.
Paper money eventually returns to its intrinsic value. Zero. Voltaire. Ebay coinbowlllc
