Uncirculated Kennedy half dollars found in change

Today I was given to uncirculated JFK half dollars in my change while at the bank. These two Kennedy halves are 2008 p and 2008 d. Makes me wonder why these would be in circulation as the mint has not put Kennedy half dollars in circulation since 2001. My only thought is that little Johnny needed some money and got into Gramps coin collection. He did not know really what he had so he spent them. Any better reason that someone might have why these two were put in circulation in such fantastic condition?
