$6000 obo
If real, that stamp should be sold in a reputable stamp auction.
I sent pics to heritage auction fed ex will be picking it up next week to validate and sell in an upcoming auction. My father was married to stamps it wasn't just a hobby. With literally millions of stamps from multiple countries some dating back to 1850. Each in a book of up to 7 months ago when he fell I'll. This one stamp is what he left me as it shares my name. Aswell as the coin collection. My brother will be retaining the rest of his stamp collection.
Just wanted to give a person with more modest means a chance to obtain this before the deep pockets get a hold of it
Not sure what that's worth, but good luck with your sale!
If Heritage passes, try Gary Lyon. Top Canadian dealer.
Past auction sales have been $10,000 to $15,000 heritage put me through such an ordeal of pics and videos before they said they wanted it. So that's promising thanks for all your help
Interesting
I don’t think heritage auction stamp now, might want to get it expertised, there are forgeries of this.
A genuine expertise letter would enhance it's value.

There is an example of this stamp coming up for auction at another auction house. Linns Stamp News has a story on it.
I see slight variations between the photos here and online so it is not the same stamp. It has an estimate of $7500 - $10000.
