DougShirey collection my number is 5092896177 taking offers starting at 2.2mil coin is non magnetic on copper planchet with #3 having a tail that hangs little lower than rest of date.

He's talking about the 3 in the date. Counterfeit 1943 copper cents are frequently created by tooling the 8 on a 1948 cent to create a 3 and the 3 on these counterfeit coins don't have a tail that hangs down like what is found on the 1943 cents.

there are 10-15 known of the P mint 43 bronze so you cannot own the second one ever. also your ask price is ridiculous even if it were ms65bn or perhaps higher.
