advice please: Best book on Buffalo 5¢

DennisHDennisH Posts: 14,011 ✭✭✭✭✭

I'd like to buy just one reference book; is there a clear best choice?

I'm looking for one with date-by-date insight, photos, etc. I see there are multiple editions of Kevin Flynn's book; is there a lot of difference between old and new editions?

Thanks for any suggestions!

When in doubt, don't.

The David Lange book is excellent, there have been several newer editions also.

Check out this forum post from last April. It might give you better insight as to your needs. It all depends on how into Buffalo Nickel's you are. I have 4 Buffalo Nickel Books and enjoy them and find them all very useful. Good luck.

David Lange's 1992 book can be read or downloaded as a PDF for free on the Newman Numismatic Portal:

Thanks very much to all 3 of you. I downloaded the 1992 edition and have purchased a copy of the 3rd edition.

    When in doubt, don't.
