The only way it’s worth that kind of money if it had been previously owned by one of the three astronauts and came with documentation, like from Heritage!
You have any idea what it's worth?
Only know by virtue of an auction setting…if two people want it, then it could easily clip $500 at Heritage. Not too long ago they had an auction for some astronaut owned memorabilia as well as coins. Some of the stuff was crazy expensive. I got some Apollo coins that had been owned by Alan Bean and partially made from flown Apollo 13 metal. When the word “flown” is included in the description and it was owned by the astronaut on that flight the price gets crazier.
I should add that unless it comes with provenance that is credible, like Heritage, it’s pretty worthless!
