I found this 1985p nickel and was wondering if it was an error coin, if so what kind of error is it?

Post mint damage (PMD) sorry
Sorry but your coin suffered significant damage and it didn't leave the mint looking like that. It's not an error of any kind
Damage imparted mechanically
What kinda hoagie did you order at Wawa? Peace Roy

How do i post a picture
Hi everyone? I found doubling on my 1955 penny in the wheat stocks but can not confirm whether this is an known error. Any help would be appreciated 😁

You should really start your own thread instead of piggybacking on an existing thread.
This only causes confusion. Not sure if a mod can move it or not.
To answer your question first of all a DD is a variety, not an error, big difference.
Also I can see no sight of Doubling on your cent.
I apologize I didn't realize I was posting in someone else's thread. It is my first post and I believed I was starting my own thread so my apologies sincerely for that.... However concerning you not seeing doubling then I would highly advise a trip to the eye doctor or at least a pair of reading glasses would help 😏
And you can reference the exact error on Wexlers 1955 DDO & DDR Varieties on his website. There is just many (not just one) that it could be and some of them are proof and mine clearly isn't so my question isn't whether it is an error...but rather which one it actually is. But I do appreciate your expertly incorrect advise and the time it took to compose that.
