Queens Platinum Jubilee coins

Was anyone interested in this latest release from the Royal Mint? I thought there were some very nice designs and a wide variety. I bought the proof cupronickel set (I do anyway each year) but for the releases today I picked up the silver proof Piedfort versions of the 50p and the 5£. The 5£ has a beautiful design, both obverse and reverse, and a nice inscription on the edge which was not on the other coins. Doubt there will be another platinum (70 yr) jubilee monarch for many generations.

UK collectors are interesting, I was maybe #4000 in their queue system and figured I’d get shut out. Plenty of low mintage coins were still available, only the big money items were sold out. By now several more items are gone, but still some nice coins available
