Fake Gold Bar...... Removed
I am not up to date on spotting a problem with these.
The -1 feedback would seem to be a red flag.
The feedback received would seem to be a red flag. "sells fake gold bars! BEWARE FRAUD!"
Thanks for looking and reporting if needed.

Looks like they also sold 2 recently.

Find a picture of a real one and some obvious differences show.
Counterfeit
This is one to post on the PM forum, though many don’t have much authentication from pics experience.
It is educational tho
Even after looking at images online I still have a problem seeing it.
For this one pull up a Perth 20 gram bar
Look at the radius of curvature on the corners
The lettering for “pure gold” & “20 gram” is just a tad different
Apmex has Perth Mint 20 gram gold bars for $1211.
AliExpress has Perth Mint 20 gram gold bars for $4.25.
Also, there is a sucker born every minute, a fool and his money are soon parted, and you can't cheat an honest man.

Is this one of those giveaways too ?
@MsMorrisine "The lettering for “pure gold” & “20 gram” is just a tad different"
Thanks for that. I can see that now but I think I can see it better on the lower parts of the 9's'
Thanks for the replies!
I do fine with coins and any bullion type stuff would be in coin form like ASE's & AGE's.
I almost never buy bar form and I'm ashamed to say I know very little about it, you could sell me one with a chocolate center.

That's why I don't buy it.
Something about the lettering and logo just look off. Reported.

Current bid on ebay is $709.99 with 15 bids...... not quite a giveaway other than the buyer giving away all their money.
I found this listing accidentally.
I save sellers of counterfeit coins to make it easy to keep an eye on them.
This person was selling counterfeit coins in the past on ebay.
And eBay does not ban the user? Why?
This old saying never made sense to me. In any event, caveat emptor.

Listing has been removed.
They're out there.
Just looking at Iron Tail will prove this one is counterfeit.

When I was scammed the seller had all bidders confidential so you couldn’t see who was bidding. The seller bids you up and when you stop you will get an email that the other bidder didn’t follow through, so you jump at it. This is how they get the price to go up and separate you from your money….thinking you go a great deal, but no!
Good to know. That is one reason I'm much happier buying most coins ~$100 or less. Fewer scammers.
