The skateboard stuff is so obscure, my searches have taken me around the globe to add to this collection! If any of you guys have anything that would fit my collection let me know, always looking to pick up something obscure for the collection! If anyone has any cool skateboard collectibles feel free to post them on this thread too.

Really cool stuff. I used to skate a bit as a kid and watched videos of a bunch of these guys when I could get my hands on them (no YouTube back then). Brings back some good memories.

I collect skateboard decks from the mid 80’s, the golden era of skating. The originals, not reissues, are increasingly hard to find and cost a fortune!

Previous transactions: Wondercoin, goldman86, dmarks, Type2

Me too! I kept all my Powell boards - McGill, Mountain and Guerrero. I also have some G$S and Smith decks. Couldn’t believe the sale prices on eBay. Buried somewhere in my basement are about 100 thrasher magazines, bones brigade tapes and huge tracker banners.

Kiss me once, shame on you.
    Kiss me twice.....let's party.

It never occurred to me that these might be worth some money. I think I might have a McGill and Tony Hawk decks from the mid 80s in my parents garage somewhere.

    Hi guys,
Added a few more pieces to the collection including 13 cards from a set called "Mugshots" made in 1991 by Mark Rogers Enterprises. No information exists for these cool cards, any info would be greatly appreciated! This set includes the first card of the late great Jeff Phillips.

Here's something really cool I purchased from a professional photographer on ebay. The photographer I purchased this Polaroid from took this photo of Mark Gonzales at a poetry reading on March 7th, 2002 at the Ohio State University Wexner Center.

This Polaroid was signed by Mark Gonzales that same evening and was later published in Issue #12 of Stop Smiling Magazine in 2002! Made a little collage in my second photo, everything is to scale.

Nice! Can't imagine Glen Friedman would be selling photos on eBay, but this seems like the kinda thing he'd be into. Side note: I just got a Descendents skate deck from Fat Wreck. Descendents are my favorite band. I jokingly asked my wife if I should start collecting skate decks and it was a very fast "NO." Ha!

@3stars, what are some highlights from your skate deck collection? Do you have any of them posted on SnB or Instagram?

Here’s the best of my collection.

Just this one right now - an original Vision punkskulls in green wash - the same one I had back in the 80's. Took me over ten years to find!

Makes me wish I had kept some stuff. Used to get all kinds of stuff from Wade Speyers (Black Label), he inherited his father's dump truck and would work construction jobs in the truck. Around the time I met him is when he was doing a Big Brother cover jumping his dump truck.

Great Decks! I had that same green Punksull. Picked up a few signed cards of the great Christian Hosoi!
