1963-D Penny Weighs between 1.33 and 1.34 Grams

Its almost razor thin and I can almost bend it with my fingers if I wanted to. Both Obverse and Reverse are readable but barely. It's brown and copper and doesn't show being struck through. Is it an Error coin of any value?

Sounds like it was eaten away by acid. As mentioned, pictures are needed to be able to make best determination.

Done I hope
Acid treated
Evenly "worn" (eaten away) means acid of some kind.
Yup. Acid etched, probably nitric acid. Loads of fun in a chemistry lab. You can make "copper" dimes and quarters the same way.
No premium but a fun find - put it in a 2x2 and save it as an example coin

Perhaps it was in the pocket of some "acid washed" jeans 😉
Acid job. People used to put copper cents on the posts of their car batteries because the acid would preferentially corrode the coins instead of the terminals.
Dang Mark, I truly remember those days.
