Any ideas on this baseball signature?

I got this signed baseball as a gift 25-30 years ago. Found it while cleaning out some old collections. I think it was a groomsmen's gift from the mid-90s, but I have lost touch with the groom over the years. It's not one I recognize as one of my favorite players from that time period, though. Any thoughts on whose this is?
