If were a peace dollar with that many nicks and soft spots on the surface, especially on the cheek, it would grade AU 50-something and maybe even AU details - I always felt like Morgan’s are always graded higher than peace dollars - I chose the wrong series to focus on for an uncirculated collection! I have peace dollars that are literally flawless and grade less than 64 - crazy ....

No it wouldn't - the coin is clearly uncirculated and easily straight-grade worthy. A Peace dollar would still be treated as such with the same marks.

This coin is almost a GEM coin.
It sounds to me like you must be new to collecting.
