Unlike this uniform, which is just butt ugly.
How about the Bucs creamcicle unis? I love these!
Yes - Old school patriots Unis are excellent - but on the other hand, the "Bumble Bees" from Pittsburgh has got to be the worst
"When they can't find anything wrong with you, they create it!"
Those were awesome.
Terry Bradshaw was AMAZING!!
Ignore list -Basebal21
The best!
Gorgeous
These are pretty good as well
As a kid living in South Detroit(of course before I met the small town girl, living in a lonely world)....I would sit in school during class breaks and try to draw the NFL Helmets. My favorite was always the Patriots, even though thinking back most of the time they probably came out looking like a hump-backed gimp about to fall on his face while scratching his scrotum! Great memories of the attempt though. I did like football but I'm also guilty of the "pretty uniform" stigma!
Back in the 1970s the entire AFC East - Colts, Patriots, Dolphins, Bills, Jets- all had white helmets. The Dolphins and Colts stayed with white. The Bills supposedly had a color blind QB (Ferguson) and switched to a red helmet in 1984 to help him better distinguish who he was attempting to throw at. Jets went green in 1978, and Pats went silver in 1993.
Agreed and I love the old standing Buffalo of the 1960’s but this uniform is iconic and still better than any today.
"I spent 50% of my money on alcohol, women, and gambling. The other half I wasted.
True story. He not only was color blind but win blind also. Even with the change of helmets his favorite receivers were on the opposite team.

The best part of this thread is a rare John McKay sighting on the forum
Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.
“What do you think of your team’s execution coach?” To which McKay replied, “I’m in favor of it.”
“We can’t win at home and we can’t win on the road,” he once said. “What we need is a neutral site.”
When McKay cut kicker Bill Capece at the end of the 1983 season, the coach quipped, somewhat callously, “Capece is kaput.”
Honorable mention for Dick Post as well.

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
While McKay struggled in the Pros, one can not help but admire his sharp wit and his overall demeanor which was better at USC than in the pros.

He's the NFL's Captain America. Somebody get that man a shield!

I think Brady wore throwback uniforms before they were throwback uniforms.

Not one of my personal favorite unis but I know many who love this one. And this was a good excuse to post a pic of the late great James Rodney Richard.
