Will Russell Wilson be a Seahawk next season?
Reports are surfacing that Russell Wilson is interested in three teams for the 2022 season, one of them being the Saints.
Saints Rumors: Russell Wilson still interested in joining NOLA in 2022
In Saints rumors, per Jordan Schultz, Russell Wilson would indeed consider waiving his no-trade clause for three teams and one of them is indeed the New Orleans Saints.
Schultz tweeted the news out on Wednesday afternoon in a video explaining that the Saints, Giants, and Broncos are on Wilson’s no-trade clause list as of now. Last offseason, the Saints were one of four teams Wilson was interested in potentially joining.
This could just be a silly rumor as of now, but Saints fans are going to take what they can get. Wilson is a Pro Bowl quarterback capable of winning games for teams and he’d absolutely take NOLA from a below-average team to a Super Bowl contender.
Saints Rumors: Russell Wilson would waive no-trade clause for NOLA
The Seahawks have recently said they aren’t interested in trading Wilson over the offseason but the team isn’t going anywhere this season. They have no first-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft and that could work to the Saints’ advantage here, as they’d be picking 11th if the season ended today.
The Giants, unfortunately, have a higher draft pick than NOLA and they have two first-round picks, which could sweeten the pot for Seattle. Denver has the offensive weapons that Wilson might be interested in catching passes from.
There’s no doubt that New Orleans has the coaching advantage between these three teams, though, so each team has its own benefits. That’s probably why Wilson is interested in joining any of these three squads.
Wilson to New Orleans in 2022 would be great news for the Saints and would put them back in the contender conversation once again. At the same time, however, fans shouldn’t get too excited about this because it could mean nothing. He very well could end up back with the Seahawks and this could all be for naught.

I don’t think Wilson or Carrol will be there
I don't think they will be there either, the Seahawks run from the days of the legion of boom is over, I just wonder if Wilson will go to the Saints, that could really shake that division up.
I've got to stop eating so much butter, I can feel it running through my veins.
The other teams Russell Wilson is considering are the Giants and the Broncos.
Green Bay?
Yes, but keep in mind, if Russell Wilson goes to Green Bay, he'll have to take on the persona of Aaron Rodgers.
Hey!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
After Brady left the Patriots, there was increased talking about established star quarterbacks choosing to leave their franchise and try to win elsewhere. From what I know about Russell Wilson, he is definitely in this mix and wants out. I do think that he will consider some factors, such as who he is replacing or following. So I don't think he'd want to go to Green Bay. The Giants would make more sense. There has been talk of Sean Payton going to the Giants and maybe Wilson following. But I also think it would make the most sense for Payton to stay in New Orleans and Wilson to just go to the Saints.
I like how rumors of Wilson leaving the Seahawks is always started but holds 0 Value !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
..........
I think that there is value this time. One way or the other , I am confident in saying we won't be looking at a Carroll/Wilson tandem next year. Whether that means Wilson leaves, or another coach comes in.
One of my new masterpieces, I call him, Russell Rodgers.
The Seahawks just came off a 12-4 season and their down year in 2021 pretty much coincides with RW's hand injury,it seems crazy IMO to just give up on him to soon unless he asks out. The sad part is Seattle is likely going to finish with the 5th-6th pick in the draft and owe it to the Jets for the Jamal Adams trade. On a sidenote it will be interesting to see how the Jets squander multiple top six picks lol.

good logic above except for all the trade talk during the off-season and the Seahawks being sort of bad/vanilla prior to the Wilson injury. what makes sense to me is that the Seahawks wanted to dump him before the season began and now Wilson's on board with that, he seems to want out. whatever "chemistry" is needed between the franchise and the Head Coach, trickling down to be between the Head Coach and QB is apparently not in place at Seattle.
......
I agreed with that, but I am not sure of the timeline regarding Seattle wanting him out before he ever felt that way.
